Being able to put the stock airbox in with the charger in place is a bit of a godsend. May also help in future if I need to disconnect it quickly for any reason.
Closeup of the freshly painted charger Just need to give the pulley a quick paint once the belt is on
Test fit of piping.
Loud blow off's anyone?
Another test fit pic. I need to make a hole just in front of the wheel arch it seems.
All the girls are gonna dig my 9incher
Small update: Just ordered a Boomslang harness for the Greddy Emanage so that I don't have to make a mess of my ECU harness soldering all the wires on. Also I've ordered one of the GReddy special USB/Serial cables so that I can adjust the tune myself.
The idea is that I'll be able to hook this up to the car PC and tune on-the-fly, which might be handy if the car runs too lean with the map from the USA guys car (though I think its more likely to run flame-spitting pig rich).
So guys, the moment you have all been waiting for...
We went round to Jim's house today and with alot of oohs and aahs, we finally got the serp belt on to run the charger, had to take the fan assembly off the radiator to access the pre tensioners and get the belt off, a few pics for you:
