Well I've obtained a merc pulley

With patriks assistance who worked out this will give an additional boost pressure of approx 0.58psi it should be fine. And everyone likes a bit more power!

The 138mm pulley has a circumference 25mm larger than the 130mm pulley, assuming that half the pulley is in contact with the belt then the belt needs to be 12-13mm longer.

A 5pk803 from a peugeot 306 should be fine

Could somebody please help me on how to connect the mini cooper bypass valve? the operation is when you are on throttle the valve will be closed so all the air pressure is going to the throttle body, when you come off the throttle and the throttle closes the bypass valve will open and the air pressure will recirculate around to the inlet of the charger again, is that right? Is there something that I have to pay attention to, because mine is always open!
Also how much air pressure do you get with the 130mm pulley? Thanks!

That's the case yep, have you connected it to the vacuum feed from the inlet?
Have you tested it, you may have a blown diaphragm.

Ensure u only have ur vaccum line attached to the 1 connection on the bypass ie the one that has the diaphragm and not the one that is left open

Yes it is connected to the vacuum from the inlet. I think it is all connected right, maybe is a blown diaphragm! Thank you

Does anybody have any pictures showing the best routing of the pipework passing through to the intercooler? (from the under bonnet side)

There is an ac pipe and what looks like an airbag sensor quite close to being in the way?

Cheers

It looks very tight. I'm definitely going to use 2" pipework!

Ordered my Supercharger today :w00t:

They haven't got any pulleys though. Where did you get yours from CrocodileHunter and do you know if they have anymore?

I got mine off ebay, was someone breaking up a car privately rather than a breakers yard.

However I've also managed to get hold of a nissan pulley this week from a 4x4 breakers called gt breakers uk. They were very helpful and only wanted £15 plus vat and post which i didn't think was too bad.

Their number is 01268 584585
