Ok getting away from the Volvo side of things.

What is the best Evo to go for , thinking about an Evo 7 or 8 or even a 9

But which one ie, FQ ?? which is the best to live with from day to day , and its not just all about bhp.

Any info or thoughts would be taken onboard.

Lexus IS200 Mods--TTE Supercharger, Tein Superstreet Coilovers & EDFC, 6000K HID Lights, HKS Silent High Power Exhaust, DBA Front Discs, Kenwood DNX9240 Head Unit, 19" Rims, TRD Kit, FIGS Bonnet Struts, Greddy Pillar Pod & Defi Gauges, TTE Red ARBS . And Been To WIM twice

On the lancer club they have an awesome guide which you can download which has absolutely everything with all model differences etc.

http://www.lancerregister.com/art_evobuyersguide.php

What I would say about Evos is:

Evo
1 -3: Lightweight and very raw
4 -6: Raw but very plated - better interiors then the early cars but still not great.
7 - 9: Bit softer but still a proper Evo. More of an every day car.

Personally I would not want anything more raw then the Evo I have now. But it all depends what you want from your car? I do have a soft spot for the Evo 6 because it just looks so MEAN and if all I wanted was a car to have a blast at a weekend then that is what I would probably choose. If you want a car that is a touch softer and better for daily driving then I would look at an Evo 7-9.

Just planting a few seeds in Mrs Moley's head at the moment Anees.

SO the "lets buy a Evo and tell Mrs Mole its for her" plan we discussed in Germany is working...........:thumbup: :w00t:

Raj is also strongly considering an Evo too - he has got the greenlight from his wife too! :thumbup1:
