bought the bypass lead fitted it to the car and didnt work
the lead had 2 yellow cables joined together and both the red and the yellow power cables had to plug into it for it to work but wouldnt keep its memory.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

you need to swap the red and yellow leads over as the 12v ignition line is in the wrong place on the leads hence the 2 connectors just put

red - yellow
yellow - red

this should fix it mate
