Electrical work has not been done yet but JDModified will be doing it, i don't see it being much of a problem though, i have the starlet engine loom and it only needs a few bits that need connecting to get it running. The interior loom is slightly more complicated but i will be doing that myself and making from scratch.

If you came up one weekend to look at the buggy then you would also be able to talk with James about the wiring, im sure it wouldn't take too much to do.

Know exactly what you mean about the car pulling a wheelie, or at least im sure i will Big Grin

If it was me i would have a front mount radiator and have the batery also up the front to get a bit of weight moved. Intercooler i would mount above engine/back of passenger compartment and scoop some air to it somehow.

Just to add....... Your only real problem with fitting the 4EFTE will be space! If it don't fit then all you could do is widen the back, but that opens a whole new can of worms!

Your build would be very similar to mine with regards to the engine, similar exhaust route (although slightly lower) same engine, setup etc

I think I would have to move the bulkhead around 12 inches back so that the engine fits where the passenger seats used to be. I was always going to run a front rad. Im going to do an estimate of costs and compare that with a 998 sport build

Car 1 - 02 Lexus IS200 SE Strathcaron Blue, Sport Grille, TTE Lowering Springs (to be fitted), K&N Panel Filter, 6500K XENON Headlight Main & Dipped Bulbs, Xenon Sidelights, 17" Gunmetal Powder Coated Alloys, Front Grooved Discs and Mintex Pads

When i was looking at build costs on mine the 4EFTE worked out loads cheaper, and probably still is compared to a big spec A series. and at the end of the day i will be running twice the power and will have something that nobody else has, thats what sold it for me. If you have the time then its possible................. Big Grin

Which is exactly what i am doing.

I have a set budget each month and spend a little extra here and there and build it up that way. I do extra work here and there to try and get some extra cash.

If you where to keep the engine relatively standard then i think you will be laughing at the costs. I would consider buying a whole GT and breaking it that way as you will make most of your money back Big Grin I did Smile
