Hi so took me ages to come round to buying an is200 after test driving thought they were slow but awesome inside and out love the aggressive looks love the car just needs mare POOOOOOOOOWERRRRRR

thought id do a thread as ive had plans for a while well since not long after buying the car all will become clear here she is

so this thread is gonna be a bit bitty as i dont get to be on the pc for great lengths of time.
so the first thing i noticed was that the lexus tends to not be as stiffer ride as im used to i bought was lowering springs as i like cars to be a bit lower

went for 50mm then got some polyurathaine arb bushes and some washers and made up some pineapples for the rear subframe ,i knew tightening up the subframe helps had locking collars on my s14 helped instantly

also found some solid diff bushes the observant people will see that theres one missing had to make one up out of some ally

So priety much as soon as I got her I realised shes slow this was backed by my mrs laughing at me an telling me this how rude but then she does drive a subaru sti (mine used to be faster) so this was troubling me how do I make my car faster so looked at suppercharger but then thought enitial out lay for one and well ive never owned one put me off also from what I read your limmited on what power you can get from one so decided to go turbo so after looking around for months i decided t 28 turbo from a skyline or t25 would do as there straight 6 to so ended up with one of each turbos but am going to fit the t28 as there supposed to be a better turbo an what small power im going to ask of it it should handle fine so decided hell yeah go ferrit so picked sparky stavs brains and a few outhers an then got the balls to do a fpr with return line was easy in the end that was the start so ive not done the full conversion yet I have a wardrobe
full of bits waiting to go on but sat down an did some of oil and water lines outher night

I also made up and fitted an induction kit this will be gettin stripped an incorporated into the turbo set up

And decided on either a modeo intercooler or saab 900 one so got one of each so the one I dont use will be sold to

Will be making up a oil flow banjo spare as I have a spare one to sell if anyones interested
