Jimbobs Lexus IS200 Turbo!
Jimbobs Lexus IS200 Turbo!
Thought its bout time i started one so ppl can see how i am getting on and got plenty of pics lol firstly i installed K&N panel air filter, put on scorpion back box and a front strut i did this within bout 2 weeks of having the car!!
I then installed aftermarket single Din stereo but this is changinging as ive got a dbl Din dvd satnav stereo coming all touch screen which is arriving tuesday! woop woop pic will be up soon!
I then ordered a spoiler off Ebay and sprayed and fixed myself which was very nerve racking not the best spray job but will be removed as i have friend with a spay gun and garage.
Well after the car started to look the part i thought best to take my viper alarm out of my old 306 and install which was not the easiest job by far and had alot of help off of Rabster thx again for all the help u have given mate!!!!!
Alot of wires and very hard to find where they all go but success after alot of resaerch and trial and error.
I then ordered a carbon fibre grill off of Ebay gives the car a bit more of a look
Iver also gone with a blue theme and done quite alot of colour coding started with the dash lights changing to LED's
Then i installed cheap start button pretty pointless but oh well lol
I then thought under the bonnet needs a dress up so out came the spray paints and did this
The spraying continued iside and i did window switch panels and around the dials will eventually do the whole lot across my dash but need a gd week off to remove dash completely and mask off
I then thought of how to make my car stand out abit more interior wise and decided to re-cover my door cards and i think it went really well and looks very gd took time and patience but love it
Things i have left to do are
New brake discs all round and rear pads
New wheels mine are in terrible condition
induction kit
body kit
lowering
full stainless exhaust (might be getting stainless exhaust manifold this week)
Arbs
Basically ive gotta start saving lol
Let me know what you think thx and any advice appreciated!!
good work mate
