For some time now my pass door window rattles when the door gets closed with it part wound down, so yesterday as the weather was clod but dry i took the plunge to whip off the door card and have a look.

Last year i had a dent removed from the same door and thought that the garage may have left something un-clipped or some thing like that!

So off came the door card and i found that the plastic film that stops water getting into the car had evidence that the door card had very been removed, so goods knows how they got the den out? Anyway after looking at the inside of the door for about 30 i still was non the wiser! So armed with a 10mm socket i set about tightening all the bolts i could see, nothing still rattled like a 1970's Marina

Just as i had given up i spotted a "stop" in the window runner with a 10mm bolt that was finger tight, 5 sec later my door was closing with the lovely sound of "thunk" without a rattle to be heard1 :biggrin:
