Girl arrested over "Koran burning"?
Girl arrested over "Koran burning"?
As per Linky http://news.uk.msn.com/uk/articles.aspx?...=155349433
Now i in no shape or form condone her actions, i mean seriously why ###### off islamic fundamentalists and give them a reason to fuel their hatred, let alone the offending of normal muslims who just get along in life and leave others be
BUT
Why is she arrested and interrogated for burning a book, yet the hate filled morons that burnt poppys on our rememberance day are simply moved along and even given police protection?
Why where they not arrested and interrogated? even more so why where they not deported?
Is this the PC state showing us a truely stark image of things to come? any outsider can come along and sput whatever hatred they wish and be protected by human rights and freedom of speech and yet indiginous citizens are castagated and criminilised for it?
I still stand by the fact i think she was in the wrong
but why is it always one rule for "them" and one rule for "us", surely this only widens the mulit-cultural gap?
I love it when people say indiginous
If i was to burn a bible in public i am sure i would be arrested
I would be arrestes for inciting religioua hatred
burning poppys and stuff like that is not religious
Saraj has hit the nail on the head - this is inciting racial hatred which is a criminal offence, protesting and burning poppies as far as I know is not.
I do agree to a certain extent though, and it worries me - if this is not identified and controlled early on (as in now) then this gap between races will widen and eventually people will rebel at which point things will get really bad.
Carpediem My terminology of "indiginous" was TBF a little broad
you know what im getting at though

toxo The welsh
toxo The welsh
In actual fact aren't the welsh descended from (or actually are I'm not sure) the celtics? In which case they do have a decent claim towards being indigenous
But as above, if you don't arrest someone for burning a Koran, then you can't arrest someone for burning a bible, and the whole thing falls apart.
