Removing "yellowing" from clear rubber.
Removing "yellowing" from clear rubber.
HI guys, i fitted about 9 months ago some DTRL to my car, and now the sun has started to turn them yellow!
Is there any way to de-yellow them?
Here's a pic of what iv got fitted.
I know their only cheap and iv ordered some more, but would like to know if there's a way to re-store them back to clear?
Cheers.
jomo
I have no idea what that is but if it's plastic and waterproof, the witches handbook says white vinegar usually cures all It's the only useful tip in the entire book .. if whatever that is is waterproof
jimxms In my experience, when clear rubber yellows its not on the surface (unless you smoke around your headlights a lot?). Its more likely the actual composition of the rubber. Cheap rubber yellows, the expensive stuff resists it a lot more.
