"Deer Jumping" - **** sport in an MR2
With a somewhat strong smell in the car,we got launched.. we landed, we bounced, we lived !
Minor cosmetic damage to the bumper and paint,Side light gone, Inner wheel arch.. destroyed, Side skirt popped out a tad.. so all in all, a very very lucky escape.
We think from the amount of blood, guts and stench we hit the softest part, the belly, hence why the damage was minimal.. So, sadly it needs the bumper now taken off and reinstated where its pushed in and the crack repaired, and painted (pearl white too)
But.. could have been much worse
A27 near Chichester last night... slightly above the speed limit:whistling: and I attempted the long jump over the body of a Deer !

I tried jumping over a cow a while ago in my Mini Cooper 'S', but unfortunately it was alive and stood up at the time, well it was until I hit it and then it was dead and lying down ready for the Transit van that came along shortly after to try the long jump.:mellow:
Fortunately I was wearing a four point harness, but the front wing, windscreen, and roof were all caved in. By some luck I got away without a scratch.
IS 200 Sport with a few mods, Standardish IS-F. The IS250 SE-L with a few mods has gone to a new home.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
