When you said the body shop is suggesting you "leave them out", what are you/they referring to ? Taking out the washers/actuators etc ?

Yeah when they did mine they removed the washers and blanked the pipes and am guessing that's what they'll do here too.

Yeah when they did mine they removed the washers and blanked the pipes and am guessing that's what they'll do here too.

Here's mine that I fitted, no big drama, took two of us........washers work fine and no you can't see them. I know we don't have self levelling headlights for the HID's (fitted), but headlight washers are half way there:

I was always under the impression that the holes were marked on the inside for easy cutting. Also you will need them if you have HID's fitted.

The legal requirement for headlamp washers with HIDs is for factory-fitted HIDs. For aftermarket HIDs, the law isn't entirely clear, and it's certainly not an MoT issue.
