i have a freind whos found one of these on pistonheads up in harrogate

Make sure the battery is clamped down properly!! It's amazing how many of them have dents poking OUT of the rear 1/4 where it's come loose and made a bid for freedom.
Supercharger?
Pretty sure it's just the 1.8 that has the stock torsen unit. There's loads of extra rear chassis bracing and the rear subframe is a lot beefier as well.

Going to look at upgrading to the 1.8 brakes and then maybe look at the chassis/bracing etc later.

Thought it best to find one that had a mint chassis/bodywork and the engine can be improved/changed later. Lots of parts out there
Guess if the paint is ok then its just a case of getting dentrix etc to sort it out. The other one also had some rust coming through on the sills/arch's.

Lot of 5' owners on WIM site mate and tony has worked on a fair few, so you should pop over should you need any info
