Can get the walbro pump for £69.95 +£5 p+p so might get one anyway?

The charger is hitting very good boost still and the car pulls very strong when warm? just when cold its it runs pants? had the PO325 code come up again earlier? which is what i had before?

Going to check the FCD wiring again, and try and go through the whole system to see what happens when i disconnect certain parts, charger etc? see how it runs with no boost

i had a problem when it was a cold start, it was missing firing and ran like rubbish put when warmed up was ok. I traced it to the IK22 plugs found when they where cold they was just not sparking properly. CHanged to a set of standard NGK plugs and they where fine.

Not sure mate, as i did have problems the last time i fitted the IK22 plugs to the car and they were removed very soon after? the standard plugs worked fine so hopefully it might be just that?? :thumbup1:

I'm running IK22s in the Cupra and have missfires on all cylinders if I start it after not driving for a day or more. All fine by the end of the roas (20 metres) they just dont like cold starts. Never had a problem in the Lexus with them though - well apart from that time the car failed to start untill I swapped back to IK20s lol.

Added a can of Wurth injector and fuel system cleaner on Sunday morning, (couldn't do any harm) and the car is now firing from cold and runs like a rocket again?
Got a new set of plugs to fit and see how it goes from there? was quite surprised at the difference in it after the fuel additive being added? Reset the ecu and done about 100 miles since i added it, blew loads of black **** out of the exhaust as its still up the rear bumper  was it that crapped up that the fuel system needed a good clean ??:confused:
