Down side for you Dave is your be requested to clean all your ladies in your house hold cars once you get the correct finish.
Now that will be more hours spent cleaning than you currently have free hours in the day

@ Lexusboy, I already spend all my time on the ladies cars, I was hoping that having a polisher might actualy save me some time lol.
Thanks for all the advise. I don't think I want to go for a rotary, I don't need something for a lot of paint correction I only want something for minor painte correction (removing minor swirls) and finish polishing. I think i'm leaning towards the DAS-6 for it's price.

25-02-2018, 02:41 PM #13Considering you have soft Jap paint I would go with a DA polisher. Don't try and get it done all in one day though, as it will take twice as long as using a rotary. You will get better results just taking your time doing a couple of panels at a time. Also remember to get some IPA and do a wipe down after polishing. This will remove any oils the polish leaves, which can mask the swirls and trick you into thinking it's corrected when it's not.
Post up the results when you've finished

yea but IPA is best used for having a good drink afterwards - putting a good beer on paint is a little wasteful :thumbup:
