Bought a polisher so wondered what's the best polish to use with it, I normaly just use Turtle Wax Original which is quite good but very dusty and absolutlely destroys my shoulder for days because of the hard work to get it off properly hence buying a polisher, anyways don't want to use the Turtle Wax i'd rather use something more suited so any ides?:biggrin:

Which polisher you brought matey? i find using the auto glym super resin polish on mine works well or even the megs gold class, little dust and always give a good finish for what they cost, give it a good claying and washing though before using it mate as you dont want to rub any dirt in with the polisher!

Cheers Chris just bought one from Aldi to see what it's like it's 120w with a no load speed of 3000rpm what ever that means:blink: it was only £12 so if it's rubbish then nothing lost really, gonna give it a good wash 1st using the 2 bucket method and micro fibre cloths and then give the polisher a whirl to see what it's like just need to get the polsh now:biggrin:

Normally when people first use these buffers they don't do a great job first time round so if you feel the same stay with it as i sure your get a better result the second or third attempt.

What you must do is work on a very small area at a time check out utube to see how to use first.

remember that you need to apply a wax or sealant after polishing to protect the paintwork.
andy if you have bought what i think u have then they are ****, you wont get any correction of the paint/clearcoat with it BUT it is easier than doing it by hand and saves your shoulder! In your case you want a product that is "filler" heavy - it fills the swirls making them less obvious but they will still be there. look no further than autoglym super resin polish.
remember that you need to apply a wax or sealant after polishing to protect the paintwork.
