toxo Let me know when you blow up your gearbox, I've got a spare one sitting around in my workshop :lol:
The internals from a 2JZ-GTE will involve lower compression pistons won't they, so you won't have to do the head gasket.

jimxms As for the gearbox, that's reassuring to know. Have you pulled it apart at all? Be quite handy to know how hard it is to get to the valvebody springs as those are the parts I need to mod.

toxo Not done anything with it. I wanted to shift it as a whole, had some bloke on eBay contact me about it so I took it off the car and got it ready and then he disappeared so it's just sat on a dolley in my workshop :Shooting:

It came off a 117,000 mile Y2000 LS400 VVTi. I'm keeping the bellhousing as I need it to adapt the 1UZ engine to a manual box but the rest of it is there. Make me an offer, I want it out of the way! Got the torque converter, propshaft etc lying around as well.
