You sure they not remakes of "Highlander" and this Han chap is really "Han Mcleoud":p
I first saw the LF-A in the flesh, so to speak, on the 8th June 2007 but it was the earlier aluminium bodied version not the GF body that went into production.
I noticed this too and the LF-a concepts started 2005, production scheduled for early this year, but may have been late 2010
the films have a different chronological order than release order, so whats to say that Tokyo drift maybe set in 2011 as a future thing? there may be a clue in the actual film but i've not watched it recently to have a look...
Here we go, Wikipedia explains the whole timeline issue...
# Release order
1 The Fast and the Furious
2 2 Fast 2 Furious
3 Tokyo Drift
4 Fast & Furious
5 Fast Five
Chronological order
1 The Fast and the Furious
2 2 Fast 2 Furious
3 Fast & Furious
4 Fast Five
5 Tokyo Drift
