So I drive back on Friday 10 mins before they close. Not done. Fair enough I thought, it did seem a bit quick to have it done next day.
Ring them on Monday evening - still not done. But will call me back later on in the day to let me know when it will be finished.
No phone call so on Tuesday I ring them. STILL NOT DONE. Apparently there are problems with the ovens. But engineer will be there to fix on wednesday.
Ring back Wednesday evening. Nope not done. Definitely be done on Thursday as they are catching up with a backlog.
Ring back at 10am this morning. "No we've not started it yet, but it will be done by closing".
So I don't even bother to ring, and instead just drive down there at 4:50pm.
NOT F***KING DONE. They haven't even touched it. The box the bits in has not even been opened, they haven't been shotblasted. Nothing.
How does a company like this make money? What a bunch of ****** monkeys.
Took my intercooler piping to a company called Polytech to be powdercoated on Thursday last week. Guy told me it would be done next day.

sorry to hear your troubles Jim they sound a bit of a joke to be honest when it comes to car parts if they do a good job they get recommended clearly they dont want the work

Aye. There's nothing I hate more than unreliable people. It seems that this country is littered with companies that promise but never deliver. It drives me insane.
If they'd just say "it'll take a week" or "no we dont do small jobs" thats fine, but stringing me along when I could have taken it elsewhere is infuriating.
Anyway rant over (at least until this other place I've taken them to winds me up)
