I'd think that the stock engine would last about 5 minutes with any measurable amount of nos being used? Also having one of those kits fitted with all the 'extras' needed would probably take you into the £2k supercharger teritory? Sad

better with an engine swap or turbo/charger fitted. must say that turbo is fun but a hard long road as the charger is fitting and then drive but only 50 to 80 bhp and turbo is 100+

The 1JZ GTE sounds like a bargain, but I'm not mechanically minded for cars. I can do the basics but a full engine swap is beyond me.

I looked into superchargers for a while, and saw what appeared to be a good deal for £4225. Where the underscore is in the broken link type in the dreaded pr0 lex... (properly of course)

But for that kind of money would I not be able to take my car to the specialists (E.g Sumo Power) and they could probably get a hefty turbo on there?:thumbup1:

Gord Fargo from LOC had his is300 running nos

I was thinking about nos'ing my is300 as it goes. But only because I heard you can run a 125 shot no problems. That in my mind makes a £2k setup worthwhile.

On an is200 though. 125hp = bang i'd think?

I'd love to have nos again Smile
Just bear in mind that your insurance will more than likely be invalid as most won't touch it.

It's not cheating its not safe and unless you have a good supplier very expensive. Adrian flux cover nos, that's about it.

It's safe as long as you don't go too high with the hit.
50bhp on the is200 would be ok maybe 75bhp if used progressively.
More than that and over use will soon cause a few issues.
