Sounds MENTAL mate, well done.

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:

OK so the most recent update could either be a a 10 page essay on how f**ked off I am with how absolutely nothing has gone according to plan this week. How it took me 6 hrs to trim the bumper to size. How I blew the most expensive fuse in the car. How its been p155ing it down NON STOP whenever I've been out there working on the car. How the injectors I was sent are incorrect.

Or I could just show you some pics...

Intercooler and all piping fitted. It took a LOT of time to get it right. Especially cutting the hole behind the headlight for the piping to pass through. Even with a titanium tipped circular saw I still got through 3 of them (and burned out my drill!).

I need to find a suitable place for the Power Steering cooler now though. Either that or buy a small cooler and replace it.

This was the first stage of cutting the bumper (taking out the mesh). After that I realised I needed to trim away a LOT of bumper (30 attempts) and also remove the headlight washers and the washer tank in order for it to fit.

Cheers boys.

Well I just did a quick bodge up on my blown fuse by soldering some really heavy gauge wire across the blown pins.

...and I took her out for a drive!!!

Bearing in mind that she is running without any injectors or any tuning which means I had to go real easy on her (kept it below 4krpm), I can definitely feel a big difference in power.

Pulling out of turnings with just a bit of throttle, it felt more like I was driving my old mans 350z :p

The noise is phenomenal. Up to about 3k rpm all you can hear is the charger whine, but after that the whooshing takes over Big Grin

I think the stock ECU is having a hard time working out WTF is happening because its flipping from a little bit lean to massively rich according to my wideband/

Couple more pics (and I'll get a vid up soon).

Marsdendean How come a IS200 can run the charger just using a FCD and an IS300 can't?

Lot more boost generate by this charger. So much so that the stock IS300 fuel injectors run out of oomph at the top end of the RPM range causing the car to run lean....and BOOM.

The previous owner of the kit made just under 370bhp total on 93 octane fuel with no other mods and 120k miles on his engine.

I'm hoping for a little more once I get everything sorted as I'm running Brian Crower cams and other minor mods Smile

Time will tell Wink

Marsdendean Quite a good increase then, and made even better by an Auto box!!

Hell yeah. Auto ftw :p

I just took it out for a proper spin...in the rain. BAD IDEA. Traction control was going berserk! I now concur that even untuned it has serious amounts more power.
