It could be if i hadnt already worked out all the connections and have a couple of maps for it!

13 wires, with just the 4 abs wires difficult to reach.

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:

Well I just took the Mrs down to Lakeside - my first test run on a motorway...and OMG its like a totally different car.

Just cruising its actually quite civilised with very little 'charger' noise entering the cabin. However, slip across to e-shift mode, drop down a gear and a combination of roaring, whizzing and whooshing springs into life and the car becomes a monster Big Grin

It pulls so hard and the noise is so infectious, I used about 1/2 a tank of fuel just on that one trip. It draws in a massive amount of attention too. I pulled up at a Lexus dealership to pick up a new fuse, and a whole bunch of mechanics gathered round the car while the mrs was waiting in there for me to come back lol.

I'm really looking forward to how much things will improve with the injectors and a tune.

Sounds like fun!!

The Americans all agree that with 300+ BHP an auto is not a bad thing, some even prefer it. The low power - sub 250bhp "sports" cars NEED a manual because the engine needs to be kept in the sweet spot and that is hard with an auto. I believe the auto supra is generally quicker round a track then the manual for example.

Yeppers, Same for the 350Z iirc. In fact I believe the 350z Auto is faster even in a straight drag.

Also the only time the boost is dumped is when I take my foot off the throttle. Otherwise it just boosts and boosts through every single gear.

Which is such a great feelingConfusedcared:

PW's TT Supra was blinding on full boost - boosting through the gears.

I still believe that an auto is faster in most situations, you dont have to fumble down shifting, in an auto you put your foot down and it just goes, especially in a 300, I dont even think the e-shift was any quicker to change gear.
