14-05-2018, 08:45 AM #31You can measure it with a multimeter, you have to put it inline with the power (ie battery, through meter, power wire) but be careful as they can only have a high current for a few seconds most of them so check what that is first and if you see higher disconnect immediately

but you can check the current draws that way you will need to lock the bonnet with a screw driver etc if you want to check the once armed figures
yeah chuck a DMM inline with the positive and the cable going to the car, DO NOT TRY TO TURN THE CAR OVER it will draw 2 many amps and fry the DMM trust me lol

I wont be able to get any of my extra stuff that I've hooked up to come on until its flipped to IGN.
TBH I may just see how the car starts over next week. If it has problems turning over or is totally flat then I know I've definitely got a power draining problem. Otherwise it was probably just an ancient battery on its way out.
How much does the car draw in IGN? I'd imagine its a lot more than just on ACC?

If it wasn't for the kids I would, but bedtime comes at 7pm for them, so the evening meal would have to be at like 5:30
