Right guys, im trying to figure out what I could do as a business thats easy to setup and your average joe could do, you know so i can be my own boss, make a decent wage, and work a little less if i wanted

My first Idea was a hand carwash, i know most towns are rammed with immigrant ones, but i could charge a fiver for a rinse/foam/rinse/scrub/rinse/squeege, and would only need to do 20 cars a day to make £100,

Thats my only idea so far, so theother bit of my question is

What is your area missing? What do you hate having to do yourself and travel to get?

All ideas welcome Smile

i thought of rubbish collection after watching an episode of apprentice.

Use you car, hatchback or estate as its free to dump at skip site, and offer a service much cheaper then the main companies?

leaflet drop, newspaper adverts, collect rubbish get paid put in car and dump at skip site for free?

any implications on this on the law?

Other than that there are only certain items you can drop at a recycling centre/dump because they're meant for personal & household waste only, no.

To collect and dump.rubbish on a commercial basis you need a waste carriers license, which meams you also need to be a registered company which means paying fees at local dumps regardless of vehicle

Waste carrier license is super strict aswell, my last company gor a twenty grand fine for not having it and mistakenly collecting waste from a client

Good idea though, but if im doing it in a car/estate, then so could the client? Saving them money?

The thing needed in most area for working families and the disabled and old folks is things like house cleaning, windows gardening, Drive ways and odd jobs.
