I'm looking at getting a rotary polisher to take some of the grunt work out of detailing my car. Don't have the funds for a g220 so was wondering what you guys think of the silverline range?

I'm interested in this. I have a G220 and can't stand using it as by the time I have finished my car I can't feel anything for a week.

This is a fair review of the polishers on the market today......

http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/products/pr...ffers.html

I have the RAC one in the review, it was bought as a gift , seem to take the effort out of polishing.

Do you use heavy duty gloves? Have never used one of those proper polishers, but I use gloves everytime I use serious power tools or else I feel exactly the same Blush

Yep I've got one of these cheapo polishers as well, it can't do proper polishing but in terms of saving my arms and doing a similar job it works perfectly.

So from all your feedback, da appears to be the way. Are rotary that difficult to use properly?

I don't think so, as long as you keep it moving I doubt you'll have any problems.

Inventive use of the word "today" there, as you post a review from July 2005!

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:
