As for the hole in the silicon bend, go to demon tweeks and search for self sealing hose.
That won't be any good in the Supra, it will contact the suspension strut. The engine is mounted lower than it looks in your photo. Also I'm not convinced it's long enough, the supra doesn't have the airbox type setup on top of the engine that the IS300 does.

Either that or you can buy threaded barbed take offs that will screw into your pipe
Nope scrap that, i realise its into the silicone now, John's advise is better.....
