fit is300 hid lights sick of mine steaming up and their is some place to hide the balasts...ie the space in the bottom of the lights..and the bonus they are dark so has anyone done that?
and two...
buy one of those rear mirror monitors(the ones you can connect to the dvd player) strip it down and fit it to the standard oe mirror...has anyone done that?....

The mirror idea is an interesting one, for reversing camera, but not see it done myself.

ad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. ad:People have fitted 300 lights, I think they need to be modified to fit, but that shouldn't be a problem for you. You were thinking of UK spec 300 lights I assume?

07-07-2018, 05:28 AM #3IIRC in previous discussions about the IS300 lights, the actual shape of the light is the same, but theres a tab somewhere or a bit of panel that clashes. So with a small modification they will fit.

all the new toyotas come with the reverse cam in the mirror i just want the monitor to play dvds just for the novelty...lol

iirc some of the inner wing needs to be cut away to make them fit, member on the otherside had done this years ago, deffo can be done!

Rolex Matt Crawley from the LOC fitted IS300 lights to his IS200. Radiator Bracket needs modification to fit the lights and you will need to transplant the loom from is300 to is200 but apart from that its pretty much straight forward IIRC.
do you even need to swap the loom if your using your own hid kits?(well i'll need diff bulbs but ill be using the kits i have)
