Guys,

I got hold of some later spec dark rear lights - however on receiving them the offside light has lost both mounting studs and also they are cracked to buggery.

Is it possible to separate the plastic cover from the base so I can swap my old, good ones with the new bad ones?

I'm seriously annoyed at this - so if someone want's a cheap set of rear lights to mod let me know!

as far as I know they can't be heated and separated like the headlights, you would have to cut all the way round the outer edge with a dremel...Sad

Oh rude words. That was a complete waste of money then.

Let's hope Mr Paypal agrees that they were NOT as described and gives me my money back.

They were described as having hairline cracks but just fine - which they are most definately not.

Not a good evening.

I've linked my credit card to my PayPal account, that way even if PayPal doesn't think you should have your money back, chances are the credit card company will step in Wink

Turns out the seller is being a gentleman about it and is going to refund me.

He said, and I quote, "I didn't realise how bad they were until I boxed them up."

Not convinced, but as i'm getting my money back I'm happy.
