Private Plates.....
Private Plates.....
Ive been meaning to get one for a while, just aint had the chance.......Ive seen one i like on DVLA registrations, however i just wanted to know, am i right in thinking dvla only sell the plates they have that never got registered and not plates that individuals are selling....so by looking only at the dvla site im missing out on potentially available plates?
Also, obviously illegally spacing the letters is errr illegal! and its probably inevitable that i will get pulled, but i see so many with incorrect spacing....does anyone here have illegally spaced plates and have you been pulled?
Lexusboy Dvla some time sell plates that have been returned to them for different reasons...

SHAHZ Just the person i was hoping would respond!! Have you ever had any issues with your plate spacing?
So there are still potentially more plates that are being sold by individuals or companies (reg transfers etc) that wont be listed with DVLA

As your aware my plate is wrongly spaced but the letter read as they should.
Shahz speak with me tomorrow and i can give you a little advice on purchasing plates...:thumbup1:

I think Ian left the event and managed a 100 yards before getting pulled, fined and booked for his plate:thumbdown: Tottally unnessessary to be honest, but they were obviously having a slow day:Sulk:
yes, you will find a lot of companies with plates other than just DVLA... I was selling an ageless one of my audi recently.. But you will find lots of companies if you just google private regs:thumbup1:

SHAHZ lol, sorry Iain mate!!
dammit, not what i wanted to hear, as theres loads of reg companies i will have to search now, lol!! and they will be more expensive then DVLA!!
Ever had any probs with your plates? Ive heard they are getting quite strict now and dont even have to give the 3 chances before plates are returned to DVLA....strange that cause the number of plates with incorrect spacing is growing from what i can see on the roads!!
