Gone for white base with silver pearl was a toss up between gold pearl or silver but the gold makes the white look a little dirty so just the more subtle silver pearl but can't afford the paint til next month having to do the cambelt and water pump at the moment and it's really not going well
Been a very busy couple of weeks well the water pump was leaking so put the car in the garage to change that and the cambelt little did I know that it was going to turn into a nightmare well pretty much from the start we hit trouble the first lot of bolts all came off easy until we got to the water pump itself where one of the bolts that is behind the thermostat housing decided to start rounding and no spanner could fit without slipping so went to take off the exhaust manifold this was gonna come off anyway as it was blowing badly and every bolt of the manifold was seized or hard to get to to put any force into undoing them do out came the grinder managed to cut it down a bit to a point where we could get to the bolts and with some persuasion they all came off with that now out the way we managed to get the tricky nut out of the way the came the bit that we wast expecting the water pipes that go to the thermostat were badly corroded the ends came off a couple and one was completely blocked so had to get some new ones of them and finally started to put her back together she was complete went to start it and the main fuse the 120amp alternator fuse had blown were getting a new one in the morning and hopefully she'll be ready ad back on the road after 2 weeks
And while it was in te garage I took the chance to fit my new arches but only fit one side so far cos it won't get out the garage door too easily lol will upload some pics soon
The engine all stripped not looking too good
Getting there almost done
Picture of the japspeed manifold fitted
A couple pictures of the arches gonna blend them all in as soon as its out of the garage
Lifted my spoiler up a bit here's the before and now the after
Will be able to see out of the back window now
you stole boosts car and changed the engine??lol
