My drivers mirror is a lot slower at folding in/out than the passenger side?

Is it the motor or does it just need a spray with some WD-40?

If so where do you spray it?

The motor is behind the glass, keep spraying wd40 behind the glass whilst moving the wing mirror in and out a few times then leave it for and hour or so then repeat the process. Mine was the same about a year ago this sorted it out.

i agree with above spray some WD40 in there before you do anything else

plus it may be because of the cold snap having an effect.

Cheers guys, gave it a spray with some WD-40 today, but didn't have the straw attachment to get it right in there so gonna look at taking it off and having a go with some spray grease.

Are the motor gears open or in a sealed unit?

i wouldnt bother taking it apart, just get a new wd40 can with the attachment. Dont think the motor is a sealed unit by the way....just dont quote me on that.
