Now then before i begin there is no cheese involved in this project, its because the motors red and has BEL on my number plate......no im not calling it "Project bel end".

I bought this car in august last year and as you can imagine going from a saxo to this was quite a step, but like a kid in a sweat shop i was very excited.

This was in the garage before i parted with my hard earned cash.

So first job once i got her home was another wash, as you do lol.

Then the problems decided to rear there evil heads. First issue was the boost leak, the 200sx's are known for the intercooler pipes cracking. There wheel arch mounted and get a good thrshing from all sorts of **** off the road.

So this nasty crack was found, out with the old and in with the shiney. I stripped all the front end down and had to move the horn brackets for clearance fro the Blitz intercooler.

I then called on the services of my number two, my dad. He gave me a hand linning up and general holding of bumpers.

Whilst the bumper was off i decided to ditch the black numberplate surround, it rubbed through the paint a bit so i used a touch up pen kit to clean it up and rattle canned it for quite a nice finish.

Got her built back up and got my boost back, YAY!!

Sadly with the newly found power my clutch started slipping so once the bank allowed i bought an ACT heavy duty clutch and lightweight flywheel.

This is the very yellow clutch kit.

Before......

......after.

With that i had a much more responsive and sudden bite point, i found this out when i stalled it first go......oops :gay: now shes bed in and its a much quicker gear change.

Next job was to feed my inner bass demon but being a sensible adult i had to keep a bit of boot space. I fitted my 12" Rockford Fosgate in a mdf surround, added a bit of carpet and stuck it neatly into the boot.

After that i thought the engine bay needed a bit of a dress up, ive got the chrome pipping from the intercooler and the blue silicone hose so decided on a blue and white rocker cover. I cleaned the original paint off in a wash tank, primered, 3 coats off white and 3 of blue.

I would like to point out that these jobs werent done all one after another as the bank would not like that lol.

and ive also realised that its not all in perfect order as my first modification was the Japspeed type 2 cat back.

The wiper arms also got a coat of paint as the original was pealing off.

and between all of this work there was many washes. So heres a few snaps.

and now your all upto date with my motor so far. Im looking into a set of BC coilovers that i will be getting next week hopefully so pictures will be up of that.

To finish, my attempt to show dominance on my driveway.....
