So to start with i got my screen sorted on saturday, i was told that who ever fitted the last screen didnt do a good job. Didnt seal it correctly or clean the rust off before bonding the screen in. This is what it looked like under my screen...

...you can understand why it was leaking. It was only surface rust thankfully, they cleaned it back to solid metal and primed over the screan seat. After that i got my shiny new screen and a one piece seal.

So got it home after sorting the screen and got straight on with the coilovers, seeing as the weather was on my side lol. Firstly i measured the standard ride height from the center of the wheel to the top of the wheel arch then the fun started. To be fair it wasnt hard to get the old ones off. I tackled the rears first...

Just the one bolt on the bottom of the strut and the two on the top, i had to remove the parcel shelf but thats just on poppers so it was really easy...

Popped the new one in....

Did the other side before i started to adjust the ride height and spring tension and then attacked the fronts. With these its two bolts on the hub, the brake pipe bracket and the three at the top, again these all came off fairly easy (thanks WD40).....

I bolted the new one in and did the other side again before tweaking, forgot to take a picture with the wheel off so took one in full lock....

I aimed for dropping it 40mm but because these are my first ever coilovers i wasnt too sure on the adjustment but from all my measurements it was 40mm.

So heres a before....

....and after

Not mega low but i dont want that and once i get my wheels i will tweek it for them. Gave her a wash and went for some posh photo's....

.....ahhhh look at all that space in the arches, they need filling lol.
Can you the first load of pics are with my iphone and the last four are with my dads posh Nikon cam lol.

Thats all for the moment, more to follow  OJC FTW!!!!

Stunning Martin, regards to ur frame its what I told you the other night and not putting on the first coat.

Coilovers look great and right hight looks nice just need some nice wheels to fill that gap

Pics are good although one suggestion turn ur wheels the other way so the front edge faces in
