Selling a car to Ireland
Selling a car to Ireland
Ok So i have sold the White Stagea the guy is flying over to collect it.
Is there anything special i need to do knowing that he is driving it back to Ireland ?
Yeah i have done my research he seems to be legit no negative feedback on ebay and had good communication with him so hopefully will be a pain free transaction
was only concerned with how the DVLA saw selling to Ireland

make sure you put the time of sale on the receipt.
i sold my evo to a guy in finland and the same day he bought it he was flashed twice going thro roadwaorks. 1 at 73mph and the other at 78mph oh and he had a parking ticket lol.
luckily i had the time an date on the receipt so could easily appeal.
There's a section for "permanent export" on the V5 isn't there? I think you fill that in and send it off to the DVLA, as far as I know that's all (other than the normal stuff you'd do when selling a car as mentioned above)
I'd of thought so John as I know guernsey does.

toxo Pretty sure Ireland doesn't count as an export.
