I had been experiencing some heavy vibration issues/wheel wobble when driving and had suspected the rubbish JSpec brakes to be at the cause and after inspection found that one of the pistons in my nearside caliper had siezed and become very stiff. I had planned on upgrading the brakes anyways as the 2pot JSpecs will not be up to the job when the turbo conversion is done so with finding this issue my brake upgrade was brought forward slightly earlier than originally planned.
After searching around i found a good compromise in cost/performance and from what i've seen on mkiv the KSport brake kit had been getting some good reviews from people and one guy ran a direct comparison to the UK Spec 4pots and said that he felt the KSports were slightly better so with that in mind I decided to order a set of 8pot calipers with 330mm discs (I was going to go for 356mm discs but this would mean i couldn't run my 17" Wedsport wheels as the calipers wouldn't fit under them).
5 weeks later and these arrived today
