Here's a quick one for those who have a carbon bonnet.

I'm considering treating myself to a Seibon carbon bonnet but I wondered what fittings come included on the bonnet.
Does it have a bonnet catch to close and lock the bonnet with and does it have a bonnet prop and stowage clip?
I only ask because it's hard to find pictures of the underside of these bonnets.

It comes with a d ring built in to act as the bonnet latch. Pretty much like a standard
Bunnet lol I had to pad mine slightly with some leccy tape.

Comes with no fitting bolts and the standard bolts don't fit as the threads are a diff size.

Hope this helps guys

I thought I posted a reply here the other day, but apparently the post got lost in cyberspace Smile

The Seibon CF bonnet comes with the metal catch. It has holes where you're supposed to fit the prop and clip from your standard bonnet, but I'm not sure I would use them as the underside feels kind of fragile. I went for gas struts from Figs instead: http://shopfigs.com/v1/index.php?route=p...duct_id=51

You fit it the same way as the standard bonnet, although the bolts are one size smaller. This means you'll be able to adjust the fitment of the bonnet before you tighten the bolts, to make the panel gaps equally large on both sides.

Also, the holes for the windscreen washers are a bit too small, I believe the US spec washers might be a bit smaller than ours. It's very easy to modify the holes using a file, so don't panic if your washers don't fit when you get the bonnet.

I could only find one picture where the underside of my old cf bonnet is visible. Click it to see the full resolution pic.
