mattlaw Lol I did this yesterday the same as this and had the same problem except only one of my fogs was working, it's actually easier doing it the other way, put the diodes into wire harness on the boot lid and take a power feed from the brake light
Opius Only one of my foglights are working too ?!? The left. Think ill try the boot next timeCould it be that you only connected the left fog light to the license plate light, perhaps?
If not, I'd say you've picked the wrong wire at the junction connector. There are three wires that look the same, but only one comes from the switch. The other two goes to one light each.

Opius I used 10 minutes just to find the correct wire from the junction. Havent Connected to the license plate light yet. Could that be why the foglight stays on after braking?Nope, if it stays on after braking it's something else. I'll get back to you on that mate.
Edit: What exactly happens when you brake and when you turn your fog lights on?
