Dan_Turism0 Yeah mate i did hear that, as soon as i've got them on you can take her out and see how it compares brake wise to yours as a kind of 'try before you buy' if you like?

Ok guys the KSports are now on and my word what a difference they have made coupled with braided lines the pedal feel is 10x better and the car now no longer feels like it's trying to kill me which is the main thing.
After a evening at the J-Unit and massive thanks to John we set about changing the brakes over and after removing my nearside which i knew had the siezed piston however had no idea of the effect it had on my discs and the pads (which i had only changed a few months ago). Upon getting the caliper off we discovered the following
heavily pitted disc and a lip on both inside and outside of the disc not good by any means
this was further confirmed when you see the state of the pads that came off, very heavy scoring and wear on the bottom of the inside pad.
It was then time to test fit the bracket and see how much we would need to cut/bend the dust shield (which turned out to be quite a lot) as the new discs are over 30mm larger than my old ones
After modifications to the dust shield and tests to check the disc would rotate perfectly without catching the shield finally one side was assembled (apologies it appears the previous owner had a thing for painting everything in sight red!)
Process was then repeated on the other side and now the KSports fit nicely behind my 18's
I'm glad I didn't opt for the 356mm discs as I doubt they would fit behind my wheels
