Nope, this bit isn't purple, that was last week's bit lol
Hopefully will be able to post pics at the weekend if weather dries up
Well the envelope is going back so don't worry about those ones
As the weather is finally improving (occasionally anyway), we thought it was about time that the goodies Mike got me for Xmas should be fitted :presents2: lol
Firstly, to go with my Nismo oil cap, came the Nismo rad cap :thumbup1:
Excuse the photo it was taken on my crappy HTC!!
For those of you who don't know, I am Sam's purple apprentice, so I thought it was about time I showed her what I had learned from her expertise, and these were the result
Samco Coolant Hoses :w00t:
And then fitted
Yes the washer fluid cap will be sprayed lol
It was also about time she had a proper detail inside and out, so seeing as I was fiddling with the engine bay anyway it seemed like the best place to start.
After 3.5 hours with a toothbrush (no I'm not joking lol), Autoglym Tar and Glue Remover, Meguiars Engine Clean, Chemical Guys VRP (for the rubber and plastics) and Meguiars Engine Dressing, I managed to get most of the manufacturer's wax off of 1/4 of the bay, so instead of a washed out black/blue, it is now a nice shiny black - really hard going but amazing improvement, I have an after pic, but not a before one :Chair: but hopefully will get the rest done tomorrow and will take a pic of the other side before I start :blushing:
Now all I need to do is finish the bay, detail my wheels, the paint and the interior and then she'll be ready for shows - any chance we can delay Japfest for a couple of weeks :p
Are your fingers numb after getting all that wax off lol
Looks much better now, can't believe they coat the engine bay in wax....OVER PAINT LOL
