They are IS200/300 xenon headlights with tinted lenses. The facelift headlights did indeed get dark chrome inserts, but not dark chrome reflectors. That would be a bit stupid, I'd say.

so what would need to be done to standard headlights - as it looks like the side where indicator is , is different and de tango'd? also maybe a slight tint film?

would you say the inserts are standard with a rint film or a different colour all together?

thanks

Think ive found them:

Would US headlights be the same connectors/compatable.....or more specifically would these fit my 2003 is200?

The headlights are standard HID/xenon ones but the lenses are tinted, either with a film or spray. I wouldn't recommend it though, as darker lenses reduce the light output of your headlights.

I would just spray the inserts black and leave the reflectors and lenses alone.

HID headlights do not fit a non HID IS200 without some cutting in the car. Also, UK headlights are pointed differently than LHD headlights.

It would take me quite a while to write it down in English.

As I mentioned earlier, you can just open your headlights and spray the inserts black. That way you'd end up with this look:

If you don't like the orange part you can remove that as well and get chrome indicator bulbs.
