el_bandido Why not use LS400 callipers? You can get them to fit the FIGS kit. You will need spacers for standard wheels though.

I still think if you are going to upgrade the brakes you are better off just buying a set of after market 6 or 8 pots. It's a bit more money, but it's money well spent.

Because piston force on the disc isn't what improves braking, you could put 8 pots on an IS200 and all it would do is mean you can lock the wheels easier. But wouldn't improve modulation or brake feel any more than stock calipers on bigger discs.

Plus the LS400 calipers are even older than the Supra ones! lol So again, would need refurbing, plus the cost of adapters.

Remember one of your Supras has JDM brakes on it which are for all intents and purposes the same as stock IS200 brakes. Those aren't the brakes Sprinter is talking about!

I think that this skyline 4pot calipers are exactly identical with the supra calipers. Only the logo changes. As you can see they are much much cheaper than the supra. I thik almost finished has them on his lexus.

And here's some of the praise they are getting over in the states...

Latest update on this,

New front pads and Supra discs have been collected and are sat in the boot of the car.

While the calipers are off I'm also going to change the dust boots for the slide pins and also the rubber collar on the main slide pin just because it's easy to do and saves messing about taking the old ones off.

Just waiting on the caliper adapters now and then it's workshop time!

Might even fit my coilies while the wheels are off Smile
