update.... i found this kit or very very similar on madmotors, one of our traders, but they dont sell it no more due to fitment issues, think this kit is called 'serona' or 'sarona' http://www.madmotors.co.uk/ibk-lexus-is2...s&id=12636

looking at the pics on the mm site, the rear bumper has the sidemarkers so looks like its for american 300's, that could be why it doesnt fit Sad

toxo There's one for sale in Belgium, it's about €45,000
And that one is a proper IS200 touring car rather than an Altezza. (I'm being a little harsh - I didnt realise the BTCC cars started as Lexus and then had the 3SGE put in untill today.)

Was Supercharged Racing Green IS200 Sport. Now APR Stage 1 Seat Leon Cupra (220 Bhp).

the BTCC is200 is listed as the japanese import, so it was an altezza to begin with.

I don't think that's a BTCC car. Prior to the NGTC regs which came in last year there were rules about not having the cage protrude into the engine bay as the bay structure had to remain stock.

Surely if it was an Altezza from the start it would have already had a 3SGE?

Makes more sense for them to have just used an IS200 that would already have been in the UK though.

Although really the only main difference between the two cars is the engine, so I guess you could argue that as soon as the engine was swapped it became an Altezza anyway.

maybe it did already have the 3sge engine? I can't find anything that says otherwise.

I just assumed by the fact they were waiting for the engines to come from Japan before they could get things started on the car, that they didn't already have one. Or they wouldn't have been held up while they were flown over.
