Lexus IS200 Amp Bypass Cable fitting with pic's?
just wanna say thank for this helpful walkthrough!!
the most difficult task is to disconnect the wiring loom behind the amplifier, this took me like 1.5hr with cuts and bruises on my hands!!
once everything is connected, the dvd lit up like a christmas tree!
as for ground the earth cable, I connected it to the bolt tht holds the amplifier (I presume it's part of the chassis)
Probably this is what you're after: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/350399839721

Mr Reman You sure?
From the pictures it looks like it's sort of buried to the left of the glove box, Against the A-post and forward a bit.
I was under the impression that all the standard fit IS200 radios had the separate amp (Though I could be wrong).

Fair enough.
I thought there was 2 or 3 different head unit designs, but none had an on board amp. Well, If I was wrong I was wrong. No worries.
