Depends on clearance. Obviously the M/C has to be attached directly to the pedal, so if I keep the standard pedals I have to have the M/C in the stock position. To completely eliminate it from the firewall (if that's needed) then I'll need to use a pedal box.

Either way will involve ABS deletion too... Like I said, we shall see!

Started putting it all back together. Not looking too bad... still missing some cam covers though!

nothing is better then a V8 - a clean v8 is even better:w00t:

Stripped the box of the bellhousing, slave cylinder, rear mount etc so that I could test fit:

This has the propshaft fitted into the back of the gearbox, but it's just held on the jack for positioning. It's *roughly* in the right place. This is how it lines up:

As you can see, it's about 3cm too far forwards (you can see the alu prop behind the shifter). It's going to a gearbox place before the car's finished to get some hardened parts in it, so I will ask if they can cut and weld the shifter assembly to move it further back.

No idea. I am waiting on a rear gearbox mount from Toyota that's got to come from Japan, so it won't be here until the end of the month. Then I can check final clearances and stuff on the box in its correct position. Then I need to find a decent gearbox place round here who can strip the box and change the thrust washer, output bearing plate and 1st/2nd gear selector fork... And that's just the gearbox!! Still need about £2.5k of engine bits to make it all fit together. Like I've said before, I'm in no rush. Probably not going to buy anything more for it for a couple of months.
