IS200 Heater Control units - Did they change at some point?

Lexus IS200 Mods--TTE Supercharger, Tein Superstreet Coilovers & EDFC, 6000K HID Lights, HKS Silent High Power Exhaust, DBA Front Discs, Kenwood DNX9240 Head Unit, 19" Rims, TRD Kit, FIGS Bonnet Struts, Greddy Pillar Pod & Defi Gauges, TTE Red ARBS . And Been To WIM twice

yip some have diff plugs and some have the same plugs but the wires are arranged diff

Marsdendean Although In my eyes its daft having heated mirrors and rear screen on one switch lol !!
well a lot of the time you need them at the same time (in my experience anyway)

Also, a few over on LOC were saying their (pre-2002) heated mirrors were on constantly, whereas mine (which has the later heater controls) only come on when the button is lit
I think the change over was 2002, as the pre-2002 cars have the heater controls without the mirror logo/icon, and also they have the MPG dial on the bottom, whereas the 2002 on have the mirror icon/logo and the MPG on top.
Also, a few over on LOC were saying their (pre-2002) heated mirrors were on constantly, whereas mine (which has the later heater controls) only come on when the button is lit

This is my problem I have a 99 altezza and the heater controls are broken I have a 01 is200 for parts which I tool the heater controls out of. The plugs are different as we all now know ha! And I was just wondering has anyone cut the old type plugs off and hard wired the new type plugs in? And if so did they work ?
Also do all is200s come with heated mirrors ?
