IS200 headlight differences
IS200 headlight differences
Numpty newbie question coming up:
Are there any differences in headlights between the earlier model years ?
I gather from reading the forum that very late cars had a "dark chrome" insert.
Are the earlier ones all the same ?
I've got a 51 plate sport and need a new N/S headlight but want to make sure I dont screw up and get one that doesn't match.
I was watching a 2001 one on ebay and it fetched over £90 and being as some are £45 buy it now it makes me think there are differences.

So your tuckin 15's, that's cute but come back to me when you get some proper size wheels
You can split and paint them easily enough mate I've just done it this weekend so go for some cheap ones and you can re paint them whatever colour you want the only difference I found was the indicator location is slightly different

Matt_C Didn't the late IS200's inherit clear indicators from the IS300 too?
Nope except the LE which had IS300 headlights, the IS200 had the orange bits in them till the end. From 04 they had a dark satin finish, but otherwise the same headlight.
