Hello, all

This seems like a friendly place and a good source of info, so I'll be sticking around Smile

I had an is200 10 years ago. It was my first brand new car and I was 23 at the time. I thought I had arrived, lol. Since then I've had plenty of car porn and always gone for the best car I could afford at the time.

I'm hoping to finally get my all time dream car, but I need something that I can drive on lazy days, or that I can park up in rough places, without it sticking out and being keyed etc.

As this will be a second car and I'm not rich, lol, I need something bullet proof and a lot of car for the money. The is200 is the obvious choice for me. Still a good looking car with all the trimmings you could wish for Smile

So here I am, 10 years on and looking to get back in an is200, lol Smile

I hope the car is as reliable as I hope!

Kind regards,
John

Lol, I will do, mate. I just need to view and buy it first Smile

I viewed a silver one yesterday, which is in VERY good condition and ticked every box. The only down side is, my last is200 was silver. That's just too weird, lol. I'm viewing a graphite one during the week, with TTE wheels and front bumper. It looks lovely but I need to do a few things with it, such as the sat nav mod, due to the head unit being changed. Just a few minor but annoying things.

As long as I don't find anything major and it looks as good in real life, I'll take the chance.

Pmsl, this is meant to be the 'cheap' car. Don't tempt me, as I'm not that far off, lol. A 300 would cost twice as much in every way, ha ha.

Welcome to the club =D go on an is300 isn't too much to run I put £30 petrol a week in mine and just tootle round town until you put your foot down lol I've heard there not too much more to run than a 200 purely because the engine barely ticks over when your driving it

So your tuckin 15's, that's cute but come back to me when you get some proper size wheels

It's not so much the fuel, as the twice the price to buy. I did have an is300 as well in the past and loved it.

I'm used to paying £107 to feel my last car up and getting just 235 miles out of the ******. It passed everything on the road..... Except a petrol station! Wink
