I tried to order the gearbox conversion kit and the custom idler to remove the AC yesterday but Thor don't have any stock at the moment, so it will be 2-3 weeks before I can do that. Hoping to get back to the unit this weekend if the weather keeps improving. Can't put the diff back on yet though, the fuel filter is located directly above it and I'd like to replace it, but they are £64 each! So that needs to wait until payday, which means I'll be back on finishing touches to the engine.

Question for Matt... the water pump came with a gasket, and the one I took off had a gasket, but the MY2000 workshop manual I have says to seal it on with FIPG and doesn't mention a gasket at all... which is it?
