Fitting Electrically Adjusted and heated Seats

Evening,

I have been meaning to write this guide for a while but I have been too busy enjoying the car and its new supercharger!

Right here is the guide, Im going to make some assumptions about what people are capable of but if people need more detailed instructions I will edit the guide.

First thing is CHECK YOUR CARS SEAT BELTS PLUG INTO THE NEW SEATS. I didnt and only found out when i had 'finished' fitting the seats and then had to take them all out to change the seat belt plugs over!

Changing the seat belt plugs is really easy, just remove the plastic covers from each seat, undo the bolt from the seat belt plug and unplug the wiring connectors.

I had to change the electrical connectors over (so old seat belt plugs with new seat belt plug connectors) and then just bolt the old seat belt plug to the new seat and replace the plastic cover.

So you have the seats in the car and you have plugged the airbags plugged in (really easy bright yellow cable should plug straight in no problems), you have ran a fused live to the seats and you have ran and earth from the seat to the earth point that is already present under each seat. Now test they work.

Now you just need to wire in the heated element of the seats.

Drivers first:-

remove the drivers side kick panel:

Find the blue plug at the back of the fuse board and then find the red wire with the blue stripe cut it and run a wire to the seat.

Passengers:

remove the passenger side kick panel:

find the red wire with the green strip in the 'trunk' of wiring coming down into the fuseboard, cut it and run a wire from it to the seats.
