I still think you should put the money into NA-t or supercharging the IS300. You'll have something rarer and nicer than a supra at the end of it.
give it up Koss... supra rulez, deal with it :p
I'd rather have an IS than a supra any day. Same power and brakes, the IS will outperform it on any course.
edit: and it's more comfortable :p
Bit too boring for me kos lol just been and seen my mates tt supra and he's talking about a deal with the Lexus for his wife as he loves my car what's the best insurance for a tt supra this is it ignore the wheels though as there too much lol
The IS is definitely less of a spectacle, but I like being able to blend into traffic and I've never been that concerned with the look of the car I'm driving
I do like Supras, I just think the front end looks a bit old now. I wouldn't mind one, I'd make some pretty drastic changes to the car (which for my own safety, I won't list). My biggest gripe is the curved round interior, which was extremely cool in the 90's but looks pretty dated now.
edit: I also like to throw my car about a lot, and I think the IS is definitely a better chassis for that kind of driving. If I was racing people down the motorway, I'd probably want a supra.
You'll never get it Koss... you're just too .. beige.. darling xx
Supra is about style, class, power, rip roaring, head turning, people stopping exhilarating FUN.. it's about the grin on your face knowing it's outside your front door, it's about the fizz of your blood round your veins when you open that door, it's about thrill of driving it and people's expressions when they see it, it's about the gut wrenching sadness when you park up and have to get out of it and then the heart pounding countdown until you get in it again...
Everyone I know who has said they think the driving seat would be claustrophobic when they see how it curves round has instantly changed their mind when they've driven one
Chris is going to love it !
Please don't get me wrong guys, despite my jokes I don't hate any of the Lexus range - I'd agree they have all the finishes touches and extras that give them the reputation they have and I can see why people like owning and driving one but if I am honest, I never realised the IS200 existed until I joined Outlaws and EVERYONE had one .. all of a sudden i was following a car and thought oh that's IS200 lights, oh there's another .. and another.. MK is full of them .. but they don't stand out in any way (for me) from the BMW's/Hondas etc etc .. all the other mid size boot and bonnet four door saloons
lol.. considering the 80's was my era not yours, this is all wrong innit lol
